School Circus Skill Days

Essentially it is great fun. It helps develop hand-eye coordination, confidence, concentration, group work and pupils understanding of how they learn. Circus skills show very clearly that if you keep your attention on what you’re doing, learning is easy and fun. My lesson plans can be adapted for all ages, providing a challenge with every new move or piece of equipment.
It is also in line with the National Curriculum for P.E. and can also be incorporated into drama.
Circus as a topic for primary schools has many cross curricular possibilities.
Experience a variety of circus skills including juggling, Feather balancing, plate spinning, diabolo, devil sticks, pedal go's, stilts, Chinese ribbons, Poi- an enjoyable learning experience for all ages.

The Great Gappo provides the equipment and tuition….you have all the fun.

Morning Assembly :- Demonstration of equipment in a fun way.
Rest of the day:- Tuition to individual Classes or Year groups. (Dependant on school size)
Maximum No per Lesson is 35

Workshop Requirements
Large clear space, i.e., school hall, gym.
Assisted supervision of pupils.
Workshops should ideally last at least one hour

Workshops can also be provided for after school clubs and youth groups.
All you need is the space and the children and I will do the rest.
